On a 2004 Civic and a 2001 F250, IPOD hookup?

Is it possible to hardwire an IPOD hookup into a factory stereo on these vehicles? The nearest place would be 3 hrs and thought it would be easier to ask here first :)

Or do I need to buy an IPOD car stereo for both vehicles? Which is cheaper?

I'm tired of the interference I get with the tuner thing I have now.
