On a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GT there is a screw on top of the thermostat

housing. Question is: While the car-? is at normal operating temp , can you unscrew that screw on housing and tell if the water pump is pumping from seeing water come from the screw port?? PLEASE ANSWER!!!
