Omnia i910 vs Blackberry 8530

Hi to all,

I will be upgrading to a smartphone pretty soon, and the omnia and the blackberry are my two options.

I never had any smartphone but I'm a long time pocket pc user and still use an Asus a696 as a pda. Now I'm at the point where I want just one device. I need it as a phone obviously, but also for emails, web and office (word, excel).

I absolutely want it to sync with my Outlook calendar and contacts.

So, should I get a samsung omnia or a blackberry 8530 ?

How is Outlook integration with the Blackberry ? Will I be forced to use the Blackberry desktop software ?

How does the samsung hold up after long term use ? Is it tough ?

Thanks.

Hey Pepe: Asus rocks as usual. Smartphones are great. I assume your company is paying for this phone due to limit of choice to two. Many people like the Omnia however, I was under the impression that they did not have the i910 any longer. I thought a new one came out. A blackberry will sync with outlook nicely but you will be limited in what you are able to do with the device as far as aesthetics, you know, internet and social networking. The bigggest difference between the two is the touchscreen.
