OMG please help! I don't know what to do I think my dog just ate my tampon!?

so I was changing and while i was taking my pants off my tampon fell out of me and my dog took it and ran!

I tried to stop my dog instead I fell on the ground because my pants were still on my ankles. I finally took them off and ran outside chase my dog to the balcony and I do not see the tampon anymore I believe he ate it!

what should I do? I am stand on my balcony crying and people are looking at me funny, should I give them the finger and tell them to mind their own biz?
