I am new to the art of fish keeping and am like omg WTF? I just came home and seen them crawling about. And I bet there are a whole lot more hiding around. Its like night of the crawling baby snails!!!

How do I get the little fcuks out? It's a Biorb and I bet there are millions hiding under the ceramic media!!!

Snails LOVE to hitch rides on live plants, so if you recently added some that's probably where they came from. The good news is that if they don't breed wildly they really don't hurt the tank, they even do a good job scavenging for fish food.

Now from your reaction you want your stowaways gone. The easiest solution is to add a leaf of lettuce every night (tied or weighed down to the bottom). The snails like that better then leftover fish food and will flock to it. Then in the morning remove the lettuce and any snails on it. Repeat till you have no new snails. You CAN use snail poisons, but they can die unseen and pollute the tank so that should be a last resort.
