OMG i cant wait for Twilight!

I can't believe so many people are slating this film. It's been advertised enough that most people should know what it's about by now. It's very obviously a girly/teen/romance type film.

Completely disagree about the whole 'it's not very unique' comment. I'm no vampire expert but it al feels very new to me.

I'm biased cos i've got the twillight bug and in my opinion, once yyou're hooked, you're HOOKED! Won't hear a bad word against it but i honestly don't understand some of the comments on here.

Leave this one to the floor....:o

You found Jacob annoying? LOL i found him to be the realist in the book. Bella to me is just soo deluded and unreal.

I loved Edward in Twilight but in New Moon i realised that his presence was NOT missed at all when i read new moon, i actually preferred it when he wasn't talked about at all.

Jacob was the reason for this. I wish, we got to read the book from his point of view rather than Bella's, the first 3rd would have been enough from Bella's POV and maybe the main action between the two should have been from Jacob's POV.

(I'll just post what I put in the 'Last Movie Watched' thread)

I've not read the books, so I was going in blind with only a little bit of knowledge of the story. I went in to the film with my friend thinking that i'd hate it but both me and my friend really enjoyed it (She LOVED it BTW)

I was actually surprised by my reaction to it TBH

Technically its march to november as thats when it released in the us. Also its the same amount of time they had for twilight but then i guess that twilight has less special effects.

I went to see it for the 4th time today :o and the cinema was still packed.

I too would disagree that the film isn't unique, that's it's biggest asset as far as I'm concerned, I've never seen anything like it.

The bits about it that I don't like are probably the bits that make you love it so much, that's what makes the universe so brilliant!

I guess my biggest problem is that it seems to be solely directed at it's core audience (lovesick teenage girls, no offence meant), with very little to offer a wider audience, for instance I know the Harry Potter series of books and films are predominantly for children, but they have an all-encompassing appeal that's sucked me right in, I can't see Twilight doing the same but would love to be proved wrong, as the people involved in New Moon look first class.

aww....well I LOVED it.

I'd only vaguely heard about it through one of my frienRAB who was obsessed with it. I knew she was really into this book about vampires but tbh i wasn't at all interested. Much more of a Potter fan.

I went to see it with her knowing hardly anything about the film and absolutely fell in love with it. I've read all the books since and I think they did a really good job adapting it. Much better than the Potter books (which i admit is much more hard to do).

Watched it again the other day and am so excited to get the dvd on monday for all the extras although if any of you are interested, someone's already posted them on youtube :)
