OMG i can't wait for NEW MOON! ;)

Well, where do I start!? Thankyou for the welcome!

I kinda liked the fact that Edward was missing for a while, it made me appreciate it more when he returned & you really felt for Bella being so lost without him.

I don't think they really dealt with the Victoria conclusion very well, the story just kinda disappeared after Bella found Edward again. Also, the whole thing with the Volturi felt just tooooo far fecthed & I found that part a little boring to be honest.

I loved Jake & doesn't he look gorgeous in some of those pics!!? :o

I have Eclipse & am hoping to read it whilst I'm away. Speaking of which, must get packing

Yep i was there last year as well, can not believe they are not having a prem here. It is actually quite insulting when the films aint even american and we get over looked for LA:rolleyes:

haha. 17days!!!!! That clears up my confusion, i keep reading different release dates. oooooh this is exciting. I have not reserved tickets yet though. :( I feel like the only person in the world who hasn't haha.

I watched the new extended trailer for New Moon a few days ago, I didn't know it was possible to be more excited about it than I already was, but sure enough!! :D I really can't wait now. I've just finished reading all the books too, and I'm desperate to see how it all translates. Breaking Dawn will be AMAZING!

Maybe they just had TASTE?? TBH I couldnt imagine Id have enjoyed this film if I was still a teenager! I could spot shite at 20 paces, even back then!:p:p

Tell me about it. haha, i will probably be in tears before the film starts, just thinking about it will set me off :P. i'll have a man-sized box of tissues with me. :D

Haha, i am sooo looking forward to it coming out, but i have a feeling i will have to wait a couple of days (which will basically kill me) before seeing it. Call me silly, but i hate sitting in the cinema with people screaming at the screen. I want to enjoy the film without it. :o i know i am over reacting but it is just one of my pet-peeves :P

Yeah I know what you mean, I am desperate to see it but will wait until it has been out a week and go to a mid-week late night showing to hopefully avoid the screaming girlies.

For me, the book was weak so I wasn't expecting the film to be anything special and I was right.

The audience reaction to Jacob taking his shirt off was hilarious, the audible gasp had me and my friend cracking up:D

It was so dull, I was begging for some action to happen and when it did, it was over again really quickly.

The scene with Bella and Edward in the forest was ludicrous:rolleyes: The cinema audience just laughed.

Seems to of been a "Lonely space weekend" for me. My daughter and I watched Running Scared by Douglas Trumble (Blade Runner, 2001), then I watched Moon and then on Sunday night we had Doctor Who. You could see that Dr. Who used elements of Running Scared.....same as Moon. I did like Moon though....and I have to admit I only realised what was happening quite a way into the movie. Moon also reminded me of Blade Runner in the way it dealt with the ethics...........thats no bad thing.

I saw it today, having not read any of the books or seen the other movies.

However... I really enjoyed it!! Very sweet, funny in parts, and I can't wait to see/read Eclipse! thoroughly recommend it.

LoL i am sure most fans would beg to differ.

What i hate is all the trolls that have been moaning and groaning about it, i mean on imdb its got a score of "4" because you have a bunch of sad losers all voting 1, i mean out of everybody here they are the losers not the people who like the film.

I dunno! I am hoping for a new one!!! I am going to see banRABlam tomorrow, so i will report back as soon as possible and let you all know. (and also let you know if banRABlam is worth wasting money on going to see) haha :D

Hmm... I know all this and have read the entire series as you have (and see the film in an entirely different light, the books and the film series will be quite separate things for me), but what I'm saying has nothing to do with Rob being a 'sex symbol'. Maybe I wasn't making it too clear, but I'm referring to the media circus around Twilight and its sequels. The fact of the matter is that a great deal of the promotion from that film was spun on Rob's character. I don't just mean keep Rob in because he's attractive and will please his and Edward's fans - I don't think that the studio will miss out on potentially making even more money by having integrating him into the screenplay a little bit more than he features in the novel, but in no way changing the storyline as such, and including him heavily in New Moon's promotional campaign. The main aim of a film studio is to make money - where there's an opportunity, they'll grab it.
