OMG i can't wait for NEW MOON! ;)

What were the negative reviewers expecting? Some grainy black and white subtitled art house film?

It was a good representation of the books and I really enjoyed it. Experience slightly spoiled by the screaming tweenies who, as others have said, laughed hysterically at the weirdest things. Thought Jacob was as wooden as the beautiful forest settings but loved the Cullens and the Volturi.

Bella irritates me.

I want to be Alice when I grow up!

Loved It!!!!

Totally amazing and loved Jakob so much in this film, part of me wants Jacob and together now just coz of the way it was acted out in the film, liked Edward but can only take so much of his pained expression i am afraid.

One thing i didnt like was Alice, love her in the books but dont like the actress playing her and thought she was the weakest link in film.

I need help too, maybe we should book ourselves into The Priory till November, then we can feed our obsession even more!

Just read an interview with Peter Facinelli saying he hasn't signed on for Breaking Dawn yet - he NEERAB to, just so I can sleep easy at night knowing it's coming!

sorry found it boring and bland, the only good thing about the twilight thing is Taylor Lautner.

btw could I just say that quantity (of money earned in opening weekend) doesn't equal quality :)

Of course not but with so many bitter people moaning and groaning over this film its nice to have something like this to laugh over, it has beaten Dark Knights opening night and first days taking. And its great to see all the bitter trolls crying into there milk that such" a crap film" has already beaten The Dark Knight.

At the end of the day it's sex that's making this movie such a success. I suspect half the female population really couldn't give two sh!ts over what the movie is really about, they'll be too busy quivering with delight over Rob and Taylor to care about anything else.

It's all about bringing in horny women/girls with itchy knicker syndrome. - Nothing more, nothing less.

You might as well have saved your money, bought some butterkist and watched a cheap porno on the internet.

Not really suprising. Superfans of Twilight clearly don't have boyfrienRAB, frienRAB or social lives so would have nothing else to do on a Friday night, (I don't mean for that to come off offensive, it's true).

I wouldn't consider it a vampire movie either. More a love story. Vampires are meant to be blood sucking and evil, not pale pansies who 'glisten' with diamonRAB in the sunlight. :p

Well I loved it! :) As with the first film, I probably wouldn't enjoy it half as much without reading the books first as part of the appeal for me is seeing them brought to life (and done so well.) The adaptations of both Twilight and New Moon have been great in sticking to what the book layed out so I hope that continues in the next two.

I thought everyone's acting improved and Taylor Lautner impressed me actually as he made Jacob more likeable than he is in the book as I find him quite annoying. Kristen was brilliant, I always find her really believable with her little awkward nuances.

Overall it was a step-up from the first film and I hope Eclipse follows suit.
