Older Kisan Trailblazer modulator New Bike (merged twice)

Recently purchased a 2005 Suzuki c50t. I purchased a Kisan Trailblazer off the internet. When I installed it, I noticed that when the bike was running, the brake light would flash fast then slow down but would not stay steady. After it would slow down, it would start the flash cycle over and over again. When the bike was not running, the modulator would work perfectly. I contacted the Kisan company who told me that the older model "4 1/2 years old" modulator was not compatable with newer bikes. They recommended placing a "electrolytic 100uF capacitor" in the line before the bulb. Has anyone had this problem or know of a solution? I thought I would ask anyone if they have a different solution.

Well, seeing how they made the darn thing, and knew the answer, I think it is save to assume that you are not the first one with this problem and thier solution will work. A 12-volt electrolytic 100uF capacitor will run you about 20 cents at Radio Shack. I don't think you could fix it cheaper than that.

Well just an update. I've been in contact with the Kisan Company and they said there was nothing they can do for me, imagine that. You would think a company who relies on word of mouth would try to keep customers happy. If you have a newer bike and interested in purchasing one of the Kisan Trailblazer self-modulating bulbs think twice. No fix if you buy an older bulb other than spending more money and try to buy a newer model bulb.
