I've never seen A Disney film where a live squid is eaten, or a guy is imprisoned without explanation for fifteen years, or someone gets stabbed to death with a broken CD-ROM, or a guy sucks his sisters tits, or another guy unwillingly shags his own daughter. Family-friendly? Ha! Not a chance! It couldn't possibly be the same film if they do that.

There is a sadistic side of me that would relish a straight-up remake, with Spielberg / Smith at the realm. As I would love to see the reaction of those poor unsuspecting Bible Belt spectators sitting down to watch the nice inoffensive Mr Spielberg/ Smith film - only to be feed a dose of savagery, mutilation and incest.
