Being out of a job has given me time to really clean my house. Here's my rant, the Swiffer, horrible, expensive, constantly have to change the cleaning pad and buy new cleaning solvent. I got out my mop today and put the swiffer away, my floors are actually clean again, and it didn't cost me barely .25 in cleaning solvent to do it.
The bagless vacuum cleaners, I spend about a half hour cleaning filters, canisters, and that spongy thing that won't let go of dog hair, just to be able to vacuum my floor. I then get to look at the dirt I didn't want to see on my floor, now showing thru the vacuum. I vacuumed so that I wouldn't have to see the dirt, but I still have to look at it? It was so much better when you just threw out the bag and never had to look at the dirt again. When I throw out the dirt in the canister of the bagless vacuum, I get a bunch of dirt that drops back onto the floor, and get to vacuum again. Don't you just love innovation?
