Old Seiko wind-up watch ticking too fast?

When my Grandaddy passed away a couple years ago, I got his Seiko wrist-watch. So I've had it for a few years, but I haven't used it until a couple weeks ago. I took it to a jeweler and got it repaired and some parts replace, and it works just fine! But after a couple days, it gets a few minutes fast. At first I thought that after a while it would slow down a little bit, since it was just recently tuned. It winds itself with a little ball inside it, that moves back and forth as you move. So do I need to take it back to the jeweler and get them to slow it down, or will it slow down on its own?
