okay, i'm 37 & i was nuts about building my own freestyle back in the 80's
i wanna start to teach my son to build bmx instead of buying a complete bike, but, i just can't believe how ugly the frame's are today ! every brand that i remember such as GT, haro, diamondback all seems to have the same frame, i am sure weight is the issue, but..... it just look so coporate.... anyway...
my question is, can i buy a use a old frame & use all the current parts?? i don't know if the specs are still the same....
