Old Nextel phone with Boost SIM?

First of all, welcome to the site! Now, on to your question...

Technically, this SHOULD work because my understanding has always been that a Boost SIM will work in a Nextel phone. It's important to point out that a Nextel SIM WILL NOT work in a Boost phone. :confused: (unless it's unlocked and that's a whole other LONG story)

What makes me hesitant to give you a definite yes or no answer is the phone is 4 years old, and I'm not sure if this compatibility between Boost SIMs and Nextel phones applies to all Nextel phones or only newer ones. :blush:

the only thing is that you will not have a phonebook, or contactrs when you put your BOOST sim into the older phone. you can manually put the numbers into the phone, but once the phone gets powered off, you will lose all of them. this also is the same for NEXTEL sim's, unless they originally came from that phone series. with the phone technology increasing, so do the sim cards. as newer and newer phones come out, they have newer sim's with more options on them not available before. things such as direct talk and messanging
