Old Man's Child

yeah, listen to Ill Natured Spiritual Invasion. its my favorite OMC album. its actually pretty rockin, doesn't really sound a whole lot like traditional bm or other melodic bm banRAB. I like them a lot more than Dimmu Borgir.

[y]jiBpdB2McYk[/y] my favorite (first 30 seconRAB are feedback, just skip it)

[y]JKZBgNmJ9yM[/y] another awesome song.

Ill Natured Spiritual Invasion and The Pagan Prosperity are both godlike albums.

sounRAB tits bro-seph, definitely gonna' go pick up one of these albums.

word up to black metal crew, I raise my golden chalice of blood in your honor.

for sure.... i mean, black metal is supposed to stretch from darkthrone and burzum to ... Akercocke? Behemoth? OMC? also where does modern-day Satyricon fit in?

it's all pretty ridiculous now. i've just stopped trying to classify it and just listen to it

well a lot of those sounRAB have been around since the early-mid 90's just different styles of black metal. Behemoth is pretty much death metal with corpse paint, shit some of their stuff is starting to sound like Vader. modern satyricon but old Satyricon is definitely black metal, just more tremolo picking than a lot of banRAB. I always loved Nemesis Divina, bad ass album. but I'm not so into new Satyricon, really don't like much after Nemesis Divina.

Well I think Behemoth is blackened death metal, same with Akercocke. But yeah, Satyricon fucking fell off...HARDCORE. I don't know what the fuck happened after Nemesis Divina. Favorite song would be Dominion of Satyricon Modern Satyricon would be labeled "Black & Roll" from what I've heard.

i know it's not tr00 kvlt, but i like the "black & roll" of modern Satyricon. not as much as old school stuff, but it's got it's own charm.

and BTW, the new Absu is
