Melodyne is a non-destructive pitch correction program, IE: Autotune with out that annoying robot-sound. You can change a vocal's range without it sounding messed with thanks to some very, very, very complex mathematics (in other worRAB, Aaron could do the vocal take in his current regular voice, and you can use the program to shift it into his childhood range.) The results it's capable of are outstanding, and considering that the version they'd need at Funimation only runs about 150 bucks, it'd be a great investment. In fact, if they don't already have it for doing other pitch correction work (like doing re-dubbed openings,) they should. You can use it to correct timing, but it's real purpose is fixing/altering pitch, which is exactly the problem here.
As far as Scott's concerned, they could always send the voice director up to Vancouver for a few weeks to bang out all of Scott's stuff in a shot, or fly him down to Texas. Hotels and studio time aren't that pricey, and they may even be tax deductible if handled right.
