I think they were in a band of some sort? I remember an episode where the purple dude got a chip stuck between his teeth or something....Sorry about being so vague, but I can't remember a lot about it.
 
i know exactly what your talking about and i remember that episode to! sadly idk the name sorry. but the guy above me's right about it being shown on dexters laboratory.
