Okay, what is global warming (explained peoperly with easy words)!?

i have to write a report and the introduction needs to be two paragraphs long, introuducing what global warming is and the effects of it and what my feelings are about it

but all the sites i am looking at are going climate change and etc etc
i want global warming
can someone please give me a DETAILED answer that i will understand. Tell me what global warming is and the effects but in detail also feelings ?

Global Warming

The increasing amount of Carbon Dioxide and Methane trap more heat than 'clean' air. This makes the Earth warmer.

What happens is the Infra Red radiation from the sun has a short wavelength so it can pass through the Earths atmosphere. With me?

Because the Earth isn't as hot as the Sun the Infrared Rays bounce back with a longer wavelength, some radiation escapes and some is trapped in the Atmosphere.

Basically some heat is trapped and can't escape because of Greenhouse gases.
 
It generally refers to Anthropogenic Global Warming. AGW means the warming that is thought to be due to the CO2 and methane and other stuff we're putting into the atmosphere. The planet warms up and cools down for other, natural reasons (like the sun getting slightly warmer and cooler, or volcanic eruptions putting dust in the atmosphere) so the 'A' in 'AGW' just specifies that it's our input that we're talking about rather than the natural factors.
