Okay, so I have a weird question about New Year and Twins xD?

Okay, let's say someone was giving birth to twins, and it was December 31st, and the first one was born at 11:59 P.M and the second one was born at 12:01 P.M

Would they technically be a year older than eachother and be placed in different grades? :o
 
No, they would both not make the cut off date to start school that year (at least around here) School don't go by the calender year the cut off date around here is aug. 31. so if one was born in 2008 and one was born in 2009 they would both start school closer to 6 years old.
 
Not sure.... What I'm sure is that POOR WOMEN, giving birth to twins on that date at that time! lol.... anyway i think that you can arrange that... i suppose you set up the papers to the same year otherwise will be a problem :)
