people, I was wondering? which of them do you guys like best....and which would be better footie players.
1. Olympic Gods: So my main character is from them, and they basically live in three different kingdoms ruled by Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon of course. They are one of the more "civilized" people and live to be near immortal. They have fought 5 wars with the Angels and have poor relations with them. Some practice witchcraft.
2. Angels: Basically the most advanced people of the realm. They are united through the Celestial Church which is kind of like a theocracy, but each city has many political factions, for instance the Alchemist University on one side, and the Celestial Inquisition on the other. They tend to be very arrogant and have battled with the Olympians for many years. Some practice alchemy.
3. Fallen Angels: Based mostly on the AEsir of Norse mythology, they fought a civil war against the Celestial Church demanding more power for their militaristic faction, but lost and were exiled into the frozen north. There they set up a new kingdom under Odin, and they send their spies to keep an eye on all the other powers.
4. Harpies: basically they are closely very related to Angels, but they are barbaric. They have fangs and talons and pretty much try to eat anyone that tries to set foot on their territory. They are separated by tribes. Its more of a Matriarchal society.
5. Minotaur: A fairly barbaric people, but one tribe has a King which is trying to unify the tribes and modernize. Some tribes worship rouge Fallen Angels as false gods.
6. Centuar: Living in the harsh arid desert, and divided into separate clans. What they consider fun is a good raid into Olympic territory to loot as much treasure as possible. Very territorial and warlike.
7. Satyr: More like nymphs really. They live in the forests and tend the trees and the wild life. They actually keep the garden of eden. They are not warlike, but when roused they are no cowards. They practice druidism.
8. Jutun: Basically crazy Giants that raid into Fallen Angel territory every once in a while.
9. Goblins: Little green people that are obsessed with inventing new things. They form a minority in the Celestial Kingdom that rutinely get discriminated against.
