okay i have a valintines dance to go to and need help with my outfit and make-up ?

Light Colors- If you like bright colors I think a light blue or green dress would look good with gold or black heels (if you like tights with these dresses maybe white would probably be your best Choice)

Medium Colors- if you like reds or purples would be best here. They would look good with white or black heels ( for tights black or white would be best)

Dark Colors- If you like dark colors would be like black or brown with blue mostly black heels would go with these dresses ( tights would be white or black and for a brown dress with blue designs blue tights would be awesome)
Make up
Light color - ok for light color dresses I would do a smoky eye or light blue eye shadow

Medium Color - again smoky eyes or maybe a very neutral red color eye shadow

Dark Color- once again the smoky eye color goes good with almost anything. Maybe a black or brown with highlights of blue would be really cute.

There are plenty dresses about its just finding the right one for you.
www.asos.com is properly one of my favorite online shops.
I would go for quite a short dress with a nice pair of heels (If you think you'll last the whole night) If not maybe a pair of flats from river island.
As for make-up something natural with maybe red lippy to stand out and simple black eyeliner. Fake eyelashes are great attention grabbers. Hair I would go for loose curls.
