ok this is weird but my aquarium guy told me to keep the temp of my discus...

...fish to be between 39 degree c'? is'nt that just too hot all my plants would start to die if i cross 28'c is this normal for discus like common 39' degree Cecilius would'nt they melt or something?
 
Can't see that being correct native to same location as neon tetra and they are best kept around 26 celsius so would have thought they would be kept the same
 
At 39 c the water is boiling.
Does he expect you to keep your aquarium over a stove or something?
They should be kept around 79-86 F
Or around 26-30C
