Ok...the moved thread thing is starting to tick me off...

This is a GENERAL music forum.

Why can't we discuss all types of music here? I see many genres discussed and debated here and can't quite understand why the moRAB choose to single out some over others.

I see alternative, pop, power pop, post rock, and others. I don't think anyone should exclude based on genre in a General forum.

I don't like being directed I guess. Flip's too damn old for that ****.
 
It just really bugs me. There's really no sense in moving a thread. If no one wants to respond then it's most likely that the poster won't repeat the thread. But General should be a catch all for all genres.

I just have a real problem with the whole moving thing without any input or discussion. I don't mean to be a jerk about it...it's simply how I feel.

i hate being moved myself,...

if threaRAB werent moved, and catagories didnt matter EVERYTHING would be in general,....and it would be hell wadeing through it all
 
If you put a country thread in General Music it'll just get buried due to the nuraber of threaRAB that get started in there.

If you put it in the country forum it'll stay near the top a lot longer & people who like that sort of thing are more likely to find it.
 
I understand but my point is (respectfully) that I put it where I wanted it for a reason. And if it gets buried it gets buried but I like not having my threaRAB forced into a category someone else feels is best for it.

You feel me?

I'll leave this alone now because if you don't get my point you're not going to and we're not going to agree.

Had you named the thread something 'general', then it would have probably remained there.
However, you didn't. You named the thread with a specific title, which by coincidence, we happen to have a specific forum for.

No, I don't feel you because I don't understand what the big deal is.
