ok so i need help on my honda civic?

its a 98 and were getting a few things done to it
-new brakes
-new tires
-new windowshield(its cracked badly)
-and a paint job.

so my question was what else can i do to this car to make it run better smoother while not looking like a total douche.
ive been looking at jdm parts. theres a few i like but i still need help on whats best for it.
 
nice rims, no chrome.. new suspension, mugen lip/sideskirt, jdm fogs. then youre set. or just go with suspension with oem look. clean and simple.
