ok so i have a 2004 ford focus and i have no idea how to connect my ipod to

the stereo can anyone help me out? there is a button on the stereo that says mp3 but it doesn't do anything

Is it the stock stereo? If it's not knowing the model and maker will help.

the mp3 Symbol on your head unit prob. means you can play mp3 cds....about the ipod question, u gotta make sure its your head unit is ipod compatible, if so you need a cord that comes from the back or front of you cd player and it hooks str8t up to your ipod..ok shawty

If it has a tape deck, it would be easier to buy a converter (looks like a cassette with a wire that plugs into the headphone jack of your iPod). I don't know how to use the mp3 feature on your stereo... I think it might be something relating to the type of CD or some system to load mp3s into the system itself... I'd have to look at it.
