ok so i have a 1994 chevy s10 and i want to lower it a good 4" in the back...

...and 3" in the front.? but im sorta confused about the rear. is their anyway for me to lower it the 4" without blocks ?
 
i did a lift by making longer shackles on the leaf springs, you could shorten them, but make sure you leave them long enough to allow the leaf to straighten out under load, or they will snap.
but i think that blocks under the axle would be just as easy
