Ok trying to program my 6700.

cricket has esn
I have a phone # from them as well as min #
Have programmed phone
Downloaded prl from link on prgramming this phone. It is a zip file. I got it onto phone and then went into prl and browsed it and put it into that filPhone still does not work.....does prl being zipped be the problem.?

I have dialed *228 and I still get the verizon message. Did the *22804 and got the cricket one but it says it is unable to help with this phone.

Cricket has esn and everything is active on there part
Any ideas now?
 
Zipped is a problem if it is still zipped, once unzipped it should be fine.

Since cricket has your esn the *22804 should have worked, onlything i can think of to cause it to fail, would be your MSL/SPC code isn't 000000 or 333333 .... cricket likes the all 3's sometimes so set code to all 0's try it again, set it to 3's as thats the cricket default code and try it again...
 
Wow!!! You can royally screw up your phone speically trying to load prl the way you are. You should read around on the tutorials or take it to someone who know's what their doing.

No offense to you, flyinglow, as I'm sure you're not even sure what all the terminology is, but I'm sure that first statement sounRAB funny to at least a few people...

Read Cellkeeper's Mogul (6800) tutorial to get your 6700 programmed. Skip over the steps about installing a new ROM and all will work out fine.
