race (based on culture)? Based on culture (which is a WIDE view of the world, the way we think, we act, etc.) Name 10 things based on a "holistic" view.

if you dont have 10...at least one.
I will give you an example. Here are a few of mine:
I like blacks (one the whole) because they share more. Most blacks I know are not judgemental. They do not exclude or shy away from someone because of a disability or they look different. Most blacks are very sociable.
I like Asians because most are very productive. They are very disciplined in academics, as well as other things.

Now...you name some...
I'm sure we can name hundreds of reasons we don't like a particular race or culture...we should focus on the positives. Negatives destroy...not build.
I asked this question because race has played an enormous part in the election. Very seldom is it for a positive reason. I wanted people to think on a positive note.
cj: a holistic observation is not exactly a stereotype. it is only a generalized study. it does not mean that ALL are the same.
Even if it is stereotyped as you claim...its better to be on the positive side. we hve more negative stereotypes than positive ones.
I never said ALL BLACK PEOPLE EAT WATERMELON...OR...ALL WHITE PEOPLE HAVE AN AUNT BEE IN THEIR FAMILY....OR...ALL ASIANS EAT DOGMEAT. THOSE....ARE STEREOTYPES!
CJ: you cannot tell me about stereotypes. i know about cultures. i live in 3 different cultures on a daily basis! my major in college is anthropology. i have seen many good and bad. i can step outside the box and see it from different perspectives.
cj: RACE...is a cultural term. it is the way someone defines themself. race has NOTHING to do with color. there are many blacks that look white....etc.

OK... why are you asking this?

As far as my personal experience:
Africa - people are, on the whole, incredibly humble, grateful and caring of one another. They laugh a hell of a lot and always make the best out of sometimes horrendous situations. I have so much respect for them
Eastern Asians tend to be very happy and keen to be friends with you, I think they're hilarious. Great bunch o people!
The Western Europeans have a lot of empathy and are extremely caring for people less fortunate than themselves. The Mediterraneans are passionate and extremely stylish.
Favorite people!? The Icelandics - so calm, so giving, so friendly! Where else in the world would an entire capital city turn off all its lights for an hour so everyone could see the stars!?
Amazing.
As for anyone else, I don't have first hand experience so I can't comment.
Everyone in the world has the capacity for generous, empathetic behaviour, sometimes they just get lost in greed and anger.
