ok. so I BOUGHT myself a car with my own money and my father desides he wants to put a chip on it to see every place i go. he said its some chip he can look up on the internet and see everwhere im at. im not sure if he is telling the truth or trying to scare me. im not a bad kid at all and im not a run away or anything, its just he doesnt like my boyfriend and he doesnt want me to see him and he is a great guy im 17 and in 3 months im turning 18. so i dont see why he is doing this. but the questions that i need answered PLEASE 
are:
1: what does this chip look like?
2: can i disconnect it?
3: where is it located at on my car?
4: can i take it off myself?
5: does this chip work even when my car is off?
please i just need some help i think being tracked is weird and i dont even do anything wrong.
