Ok...I just had a bidding war on Ebay?

me and another person were battling it out with 20 secs on the ebay clock....for a cell phone.

I won and paid $83, bid started at $31.. Afterward I looked the phone up again, on ebay and I couldn't believe my eyes, the seller had already put a new ad up for the same phone, .99cents starting bid and $69.99 buy it now!

How did she get the new ad up so fast? It seemed computer generated??

Can i buy this one for $69 and get a refund on the $83 you think?

You can contact them and ask them exactly what you asked here. Just say you want the item for $69.00 because they posted one for $69 RIGHT after you won an item for 83.00. It's not weird that they had already posted another one because you can save listings and repost within seconds so they could have been watching the listing end. They have every right to change the price of the items but it's shady to do it right after a listing ended. I would threaten them that you will leave bad feedback (their worst nightmare) if they don't do anything to help you. Hope this helps!
