ok i just got a 1975 kz 400 kawasaki the motor is seized it wont kick at all. what do i

time to do a complete rebuild. trans is fine if it is shifting. good luck!

either do a complete rebuild or replace the whole engine

sounds like the piston is locked up in the jug. if so you may be able to just get the top end bored and a new piston and rings. good luck.

start ripping apart beginning at top of motor.
perhaps it seized the cam which will mean a new head and cam.
the worst will be if it seized the crank which means you have a new boat anchor.
