ok i have a Q about Camps and sex?

ok ive seen on T.V american kids go to summer camps (lasting from a couple of weeks to 2months) with all the teen sexuality going on i cant help but imagine these camps as just a constant place for flirting and sex (im not saying everyone but with no parents (i know you have councilors but its not the same) and a bunch of horny teens i can imagine quite a few getting up to no good)
am i right or does this sort of thing really not go on. surely it does if you go away to camp between 14 - 16, or are there not camps for 16y/o?
e.g. Amy getting pregnant at band camp lol (The secret life) and no im not basing it on that just a thought
 
At my band camp, there's no way in f*cking HELL you can get pregnant.
 
All camps are supervised and all ages and sexes are seperated.

Things like this could happen, but this mainly happens at unregulated camps.
 
well, yeah, you definitely shouldn't base your perception of reality around the secret life of the american teenager. it's a cute show, i guess, and i know a lot of people like it, but it's about as realistic as lord of the rings or something. having a baby at 15 is never that breezy.

when i went to camp, there were some girls that would have boys over to their cabins, but it was only a select few. and anyways, the counselors at my camp would check up on us a ton, so i don't think you could really get away with it if you wanted to, without putting a ton of effort and thought into it. and personally, i went to camp for the outdoors experience, not for the sex. i hope this idea you have of camp won't turn you away from going to one, because they're really fun.
 
well at my camp we sneak out in the middle of the night at camp sleepovers. and people plan to have sex but usually it doesnt happen. but yeah it has happened a couple times. you can't escape the world. 16 years old is usually the age you go into like councilors in training?
