YOUR VIEWS FOR THIS POEM PLEASE

The stars shining bright as ever, give me a shiver,
As I seem to be in a state of trance and quiver,
I seem to go out, from wherever I am in the fields,
To a place where nature itself yellow gold yields.

Then and there I see many a season,
Also many a friend and one is dear Vision,
They all lend me their story I need,
For my imagination their glory they feed.

And as I am about to them ask,
Lo and behold they remove their mask
And to me utter such sweet nothing
Oh that’s not what has me bothering.

They hold my hands and show the way,
As well as magnificently magnify my stay,
In their very own loving dear heart
They make me, myself, of them a part.

They come from UK, United States and Canada,
Whereas I am from my very own Australia,
They live in mansions and skyscrapers too,
Whereas I dwell in a simple storey, say one or two.

With them I share my produce of love and rest,
To me in return they say urbanity is at its best,
We play and as on their faces a smile I see,
They share my meal, I enjoy their glee.

The country side they miss but do not show,
While they bask in grandeur and let me know,
How happily they still are better that way,
All their materialistic possessions they display.

They seemingly highlight their lofty thoughts,
As we exchange ideas, their stance is caught,
Which shows them as if they are superior?
But oh Lord how much they are inferior.

We in the country reside amongst kids, innocent;
We enjoy their company from moment to moment.
For a child, they have yet to make up their mind,
Also feel strange when our grandchildren they find.

Our hearts are soft, simple and still very pure,
Whereas in those cement cities they, hardness endure.
Countryside is where we would like to live, without strain
But they cannot imagine happiness, alas in vain.

Yet they must in big cities abide
On mechanical vehicles take a ride,
Going in trains hither and thither,
Let them age and gradually wither,

Whereas we remain in good health here
Let them in their country to drugs endear.
My wishes are still for all my friends,
For any miscommunication I do make amends.

There is no comparison of life in a country side,
There is no need to do so, nor ones feelings hide.
Yet when we welcome them with an open heart,
Of our very homes they naturally become a part.

I have many questions; I try many answers
Hatred is plaque; worse than 2 cancers
I think many thoughts; most far from rapture
Daydreams, the norm; my realities capture
I set many goals; hopes to achieve
I will keep the faith; I shall believe
I live for a change
I live to correct
Unity, how strange
I try but I'm not perfect
