ok i have a 67 chevy but there is no transmission in it what should i do...

...please help me asap? i have a transmission at my house but the bell housing wont fit dont ask me why im not a mechanic so the question is should i sell it for junk and get 300 or try and fix it up it needs a bell housing a starter and some interior work my dad is a mechancic so he can fix but it will be alot of money for parts p.s. i paid 650 for it
