want small fish -? I don't want : guppies, bettas, or mollies, i need a few suggestions fish that wont die because of my filter please help .....And i also want to know whould it be ok to put a rope fish in my tank or a tiger oscar?
I actually have fish in it now -glofish ,mollies- and i have found one of each of them wrapped around the fiter dead =( - i think its the current-
Anyone know a meduim sized fish that would not eat them or am i stuck with the small fish ?
I tried betta already i killed one of my glofish =( i have 3 glofish , 3 mollies, and 2 male bettas - the bettas are in separate bowls because they are too agressive....
it killed the glofish*
no speed control and the glofish seemed like they were fine except for the molly which had a fin missing but no signs of fin rot or ex. -there water temp. is 78 to about 72...
I don't have room for a bigger tank..
the only thing besides the filter that could kill them is old age which is possible because i got the glofish at walmart and the molly at a local pet store
mollies*
oh and ive been considering getting an axolotl - would it eat the smaller fish?
The glofish WERE avoiding the betta but then it looking at its reflection and not acting agressive till one got in its space, and he bit it and i thought it was fine until it died.... I think the molly mite have died from old age or maybe even overcrowding - there were 3 glofish when i added them so i dunno- A few days before he died he stayed near the bottom alot until feeding time -they mite of died from not the rite food but my local pet store said it was ok to feed them betta food....
wait what mollies are brackish water!? So what do i do add sea salt?
could i even keep them in the same tank? My ocal pet store said i could so whats up @_@ -so confused-
local*
