ok..here it goes...how many calories does sex burn?

A girlfriend of mine and I are are trying to figure if and hour of good sex or hour on the treadmill good speed incline. or just a good activity. Any way,my point is does sex burn as much calories as it says like in cosmo? I know it sounds like a teenagers question, but we are in debate right now....lol
ummm...average burn is what I am talking about. I am of course not talking about down to the exact calorie. Just really trying to figure out if it is one or the other that burns more.
 
it does but the treadmill is better and faster i don't think i should be tellin u this how old r u ?
 
One study found that an average-sized man burns about 65 calories during a half-hour of vigorous sex? Not all that impressive. Same goes for women...unless it's standard missionary.

But if he/she were to talk on the phone during sex, the total hits 100 calories. Watch TV, talk on the phone and have sex at the same time then he's burned a total of 150 calories in that half-hour. Talk about interval training!


The more you do the better, if you laying there like a log, well, your probably not burning too much...but if you want to burn about 400 calories try doggystyle, then do reverse cowgirl and finish off with some sexy talk...for about 20 minutes.

If you have an HOUR of sex with a lot of movement you would be better off than going on the treadmill.
 
no doubt a teenage debate... your question is like asking "how green is the forest?"... the answer... IT DEPENDS... way too many variables to give a solid, one size fits all, answer.
