Hi guys, im in a bit of a dillema.

I can get a deal on a w900i, or a deal on the Nokia 9300 Communicator and a samsung D600 for the same price as one w900i.
To simple thing out for you:

Single w900i or 9300 and D600 for same price.

w900 = 600, 9300 and d600 together = 600

I love the look and features of the w900i. it looks so awesome, it definitely would not be seen here in the US. Now that the 9300 came out on cingular, it won't be so cool.

I like the w900i, because its UI is so cimple, and alot of freeware aplications work with it. I love the video recorder, which I think is one of the most important functions. Seeing that the D600 has better video recording quality made me wonder. The 9300 has the cool keyboard which would let me surf the web. I dont have a need for the interel 512 MB of memory for the w900i, but DAMN, does that **** look cool. Anyway, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated , THANKS.

You seem to be leaning towards the w900.
Just to let you know, the w900 doesn't really have much over the d600. It's just a better mp3 phone, and the size backs that up.

here is what i think. if you likely to use just one phone u won't need 2 (obviously).. so choosing the deal that will get u two phone's won't benefit you. UNLESS you would really love to sell one of them out and make money from that.

as for d600 vs. w900i (im not to familiar iwth the nokia one u mentioned)..i think it depends which form factor you like. did u try out both phones to see which one u felt more comfortable with?
Its ONE thing to see something (pictures and see someone else holding it) and another thing to use it yourself. I used to admire swivel phones.. but i tried it out and i found out its not for me...it just doesn't feel right in my hands, kinda awkward.

Other thing.. w900i and d600 both have expandable memory.. but if you don't need a lot of memory you don't have to worry about having to spend money to buy extra memory card for d600 cuz it doesn't come with one. If you love to listen to music and/or play java games (when you're bored) then i recommend sony ericsson. so easy to transfer games.. not so easy with the d600. and the d600 is a recycle of the d500's looks (samsung keeps recycling the looks..just like the e710/715/720).
Also, in the area you live in would 850mhz band be really useful? Or reception has never really been a problem to you. if so, don't need to really worry about the frequency issue.
Size is of an issue, d600 is rather small and w900i is big. you care about size or not?

thats all i can think of..btw, the black w900i attracts fingerprints like crazy. (same with its headphones remote control thing). White is so much prettier I think.

Hello, thank you for the replies.
I'm located in Southern NJ, from all the coverage maps I have seen for my area, it seems like NJ has a 1900 band all over the state. Yes, the w900i has really gotten my eye, its just so beautiful. I ain't no business man, and i just wanna take videos, go on aim, search the web, take pictures, play some games, and show off my phone. I guess I don't really need a keyboard, but I heard that the w900i has no edge, would this effect web surfing a lot ? I read about a program called jonnychat that would run on the w900i forr free for using aim. I really don't know now. It seems the D600 video recording are a lot better than w900i. thanks.

Here's the major comparison:

w900 is big and heavy

d600 is light and small

Feature wise, they're pretty much on par with each other. Just decide on looks and you're set. Btw, the d600 looks really classy in person, the w900 looks a too funky for a phone, especially with the phone open.

I dont think the D600 does better video recording then the w900i. It has that GeForce Video Card in it I believe and it takes videos at CIF RESOLUTION (240x320). So videos are smoother I believe on the w900i. I personally would just go for the D600 and save yourself the 200 USD...The D600 might as well give you better reception. And one more thing, if you like big screens and dont care much about size of the phone then go for the w900i. If not then go for the more smaller and compact size D600.
