Every place on earth has and had its own culture native people have been had been and always will be proud of their own culture and curious about other cultures. Had this not been the case then cultures would have been wiped out of this world. Similarly, on this bases, easterners think their culture is better and westerners think their culture is better. Though, both cultures have bases in somethings and are baseless in somethings. Both cultures like somethings in the other culture and dislike something about the other. It is completely natural.
