can anyone help? now i have bought a "transflash" card a San Disk and it doesn't work right. can't copy anything from the pc to the card and then back to the phone. is this a bad phone or bad service or what? looking for a lil help please!!
i believe you need to put any music into the MUSIC folder on the card for the media player to find it. right now web access is limited to cricket's portal and you will not be able to go outside of there directly. you can use google's proxy tho to access outside sites.
this is what Kyocera had to say about it:
But I have the SD Micro TransFlash (and the adapter) and it fits my phone and also fits into my pc with the adapter, but my system says "the disk is damaged or corrupt" I don't know what it is???? Should I buy this "usb data cable" or should it work without it?? Thanks!!
If I had to take a guess, I would say that the card is currupt.
As far as the wap proxy is concerned, You can use google's proxy to surf sites that are restricted by cricket. You have two options to open up your browsing. One, use googles. This is done by opening your web browser on the phone, then going to:
Once you are there, you can enter any address and it will show up on your screen. The problem with this is that the proxy cuts out a lot of the pages content. You will not get pics or viRAB, just generally text. You can also obtain the security code for your WAP settings in your phone, and manually enter the address of another WAP proxy so it is perment in your phone.
