I just replaced the oil sending unit on my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited because the old one was leaking oil. Now the new one is malfunctioning. When I start up the Jeep, it goes to 40 on the gauge but when I press on the accelerator it goes down to 0. I'm wondering did I do something wrong when I replaced it or is the brand new sensor bad. The old one that leaked worked fine other than leaking all over my garage.
