oil leak in 93 cadillac sedan deville?

i have a 93 sedan deville and its been leaking oil progressively worse and now is leakin about a quart every 5 to 7 days was told that the oil pan seal goes bad easily it leaks worse when making turns is this what sounds like would go wrong with the oil pan seal going bad? if so is this hard or expensive to replace?
