My mother in law came to visit us this weekend, and on the trip the oil light came on in her Toyota Sequoia.
When I checked her oil, it only seemed to be a half quart low, which doesn't make much sense to me - I would think it'd need to be more than a quart low to trigger a warn.
Then it occurred that perhaps foreign dipsticks measure different from American. The stick has two dots on it, and the oil level is halfway between the dots.
I need to know if that means she's low a half quart, or if that's half her oil (more likely to trigger a warn).
