Do we need to tell Obama that we don't want the government messing with our health care?
We want the free market to take care of itself, w/o any government intervention.
Should we all write to the president and tell him to leave wellpoint alone.
This is, after all, the greatest health care system in the world, and if we have government controlling prices, then it surely will deteriorate.
Pretty soon we'll be little better than Canada.

oh my, single payer system. wouldn't that put 'em out of business in the state? Maybe they want to anger all the voters. that should help their cause.

Really now, you know they are raising prices because the Government in California is forcing them to take patients with preexisting conditions, this is leading to higher prices which is making more healthy people drop the plan which leads to higher prices.

This is what Government interference causes when it meddles with the markets.

Imagine this on a National Level, that is what will happen if these bills pass Congress.
 
Well this is the deal, These big time insurance companies will continue to raise their prices the President has nothing to do with it. They are blaming it on the recession but reporting profits. What do you think Health Care Reform is all about. It is to drive down cost and also have another option for people to go to if these insurance companies continue to raise their prices making them more competitive.

The GOP is against health reform because they want to make sure that these big insurance companies continue to make profit at the expense of the middle class and small business. They have the far right followers so fired up that they cannot even see that they are cutting off their noises when they protest against affordable health care. Health care. In my state our insurance is going up and I give all the credit to the suburbia for voting in Chris Brown to stop Health Reform not the President.

For all those who are against health reform stop complaining...you are part of the problem.
 
Wellpoints profit last year resulted from the one time sale of its RX prescription drug insurance business. Since they can't sell it twice last years profit has nothing to do with this years projected revenues.

I think Obama should throw all the Wellpoint executives into a concentration camp, seize their assets, and let people who were gouged by Wellpoint move into their mansions and drive their expensive cars. That will fix their wagons, and it will be a warning to other greedy executives of what happens when you defy the Fuhrer.
 
Are you nuts? This is the only country in the world that cosiders health insurance ANY differnet from food or shelter (a necsssity) because it is. You are able to feel empathy for this health insurer but not people? American is one of the most screwed up countries (morally) in the world. (let me guess you're a Christian too and think your republican views are christ-llike?) Bizaree and creepy.

i just love people who stick up for the corporations who are making money hand over fist at our expense.

med insurance have been making record cash by giving worse care,
what would people like to see 4.00 or more gas prices again so the oil companies can set some more records, they defended it under bush like they do insurance companies now.

But then again, that is the goal of the current plan, he has said so himself during his campaign.
