Okay, so one of my friends asked me to edit one of her school projects for her and trusted me with her camcorder. But now all of the footage has, like, disappeared.
The connector cord she gave me didn't work so I tried to import the videos onto the memory card from the in-camera memory. So I went to the menu, clicked on Media Format and changed it from interior memory to memory card. I remember having a warning screen pop up but I figured it was nothing, but now the videos aren't showing on my computer or even the camera itself.
It says reformatting it to interior memory will delete all data. That would be bad right? ALL data includes interior memory too, right?
This is bad, the project is due on Monday. Is there a way to get back the footage or is it gone forever?
