i didnt really see a point in having a shitload of threads about all the games, so i figured id make a thread to talk about all of them.

so far zelda and Tramua Center are ALOT of fun, would definately recomend them. what other games out there are worth trying/buying? and how is mario 64? ive never played it and dont really want to spend $10 to try it out.

Games to Own:
Zelda : Twilight Princess - what more do you need other than zelda in the name?
Tramua Center: Second Opinnion - sounds dumb, but is incredibly fun to play.
Super Monkey Balls - fun as hell to play with your friends

Games to try out:

Games to avoid:
red steel - horrible controls ruin what could have been an awesome game.

Virtual console games to own:
mario 64 - a revolutionary game of its time, i guess?

List of Games to be Released:

will update as needed i guess.

If you have never played Mario 64, you need to get that now. It is one of the best games I ever played. I can remember playing it so much when it first came out that my thumb was hurting!

for those that never owned a gamecube, you now have many great games you can purchase for $20 and less. Hit up a used game store and you can get several for just a couple more bucks than virtual console games.

Gamecube games
- Zelda collectors edition. Comes with zelda I, zelda II, ocarnia or time and majoras mask.
- Zelda Windwaker (9.3 gamespot rating)
- Ikaruga (8.8 rating)
- Eternal Darkness (9.4)
- Metroid series (the first one got 9.7)

Virtual Console
- Gunstar Heroes (same company as ikaruga)

this game sounds so familiar but I can't remember what it is....is it something like contra?? I remember being on a plane or something and shooting people does that sound right?

goldeneye is tricky. rare is owned by microsoft now and rare made goldeneye. who knows if they'll let it be sold on the virtual console. for that same reason, there are a bunch of other good games in the same predicament. diddy kong racing, perfect dark, donkey kong, banjo kazooie series...just off the top of my head

i really wish they have banjo kazooie on virtual console but i know it wont happen cuz rare took the characters with them to microsoft ='(
I loved that n64 game

we have red steel, zelda, and rayman. Red Steel is ok, not great though, esp. for 2 player. That mode sucks, and it's kind of hard to control. Zelda is good of course, and rayman is awesome! underrated I think.

CoD3 is amazing. After getting used to the controls of a FPS on the Wii you will never go back to playing a FPS on a regular console controller again. It is extremly similar to a mouse and keyboard in its fluidity (is that a word? ) I heard that Red Steel was a bit of a bitch to control. But CoD3 is flawless as far as controls seem to go. I have no problem running from something to hide behind to something to hide behind while headshotting nazis along the way

And what is even more fun is sneaking up slowly behind a nazi and bashing him in the head with the butt of your gun

Super Monkey Ball is awsome with friends, so many mini games that are just wiitastic. Darts is the shit btw.

I have Raymen but yet to break into it cause of Zelda and Monkey Ball but it looks awsome too.

And Zelda is a definate must get.
