Why must everything in life be so complicated?!... Why can't things just be simple?!... Well, anyways, you guys aren't gonna believe this one... here we go...
So, since I got the phone I've been using my stereo bluetooth headphones (Moto S605, I got off of Plemix, I highly recommend it... it has an FM radio too which makes up for the lack of one on this phone) and stereo bluetooth speaker to play the music... but today my bluetooth headset ran out of battery so I plugged in my (Nokia-branded) 2.5mm headset from my 6267 phone (since the 6650 doesn't come with a headset!) so that I could listen to my music... and then lo and behold it was only playing in one hear, in other words MONO... So, I couldn't believe it... then I remembered that I had a similar problem 2 years ago when I was trying to get my old Moto v360 to play through speakers... so, I came home and rummaged through my box o' crap that I don't know what to do with... found my old headset from my v360, plugged it in... and... it works!... Now, I don't know why one would work and the other wouldn't... they both have 3 bands around the connector part... I guess this is some sort of scam on Nokia's part so that you'll have to buy a new headset?!... Can anyone else confirm this?... SO, looks like I'll be using my Moto stereo headset from now on, HAHA... whatever works...
UPDATE: Also, when I try the Moto headset on my 6267 it only plays through one side too, so I guess there's two type of 2.5mm headsets... funny :befuddled
