Official support on Android for Apps to SD "coming soon"

Spotted this just now so shoved it on my blog... but in short, official support for Apps to SD on Android is "coming soon" according to a Google employee.

Yeah, I saw that update in the tracker. Pretty sweet that they're finally listening.

A good news from google android. app2SD support is coming officially in next upgrade of android. Finally google has assigned the issue for future release. Take a look at following link and read comment #535.

After that we don't have to worry about limited apps/games on our android phones. I hope you'll like this news.

Yes. I've all the applications installed on the device memory. Now it has very small amount of memory left to run OS and other apps. That really sucks. Besides that I can keep only limited set of apps/games on the device. Hope will get next update soon..

I totally agree. But, assuming you did search for this thread before posting yours you may not have found it anyway. There seems to be some delay between posts being posted and them appearing in the search index. Because of this I tend to use Google with...

+site:rabroad.com

...at the start of the search terms. Google, at least in my experience, seems more up to date.
