*** OFFICIAL still trying to get my Wii crew *** v.letsinformeachother

Just called CC and they confirmed they have 20 Wiis in stock and will be releasing them at 10AM tomorrow. I think I'm going to head out around 8 or 9 tonight and wait it out.
 
I read online that the 24 hour Walmarts will start selling them at 7 or 8 am due to corporate orders.
The local Walmart here said at 7 am they'll be passing at vouchers.
 
Roofles, I wish mine had 42. When I went, there were already 15 or so in line. They said that they only had enough for whos already there.

Unless they lied to me.


So I went to everyplace else, and already had a huge line. So I said fuck it.

I'll wait until I can just walk in and buy one. Teh 360 will hold me over.
 
My fiancee just called to let me know she's picking up Zelda from a local Hastings. We have called every Target, WalMart, EB, GameStop, and Best Buy within 100 miles to no avail. We have heard a rumor that the local WalMart will be putting out their latest shipment at midnight tonight.
 
I'd imagine most of them. There's a little profit to be had in selling them, but i think that most of the people on here (and non OTers) are buying them to play.

Nowadays you don't hear much about the ps3, besides a little from the people that bought them to keep, but with the wii all the threads are mostly for us that are still looking for one.
 
i just got the word from toysrus. after some smooth talkin' to the lady, i learned the following things:
-they will have somewhere between 10-25 wii systems
-the manager might hand out tickets if the line gets long enough to need them
- you might be forced into buying a bundle pack (system + 2 games + remote + buyer protection plan = $459 or so - fucking gay)

so, i'm going to see what the line is like at 7am. this is the only place that has confirmed it. at first she told me they had no idea, then she remembered that i had been there at opening a couple of times this week, so she told me the real scoop.
