*** OFFICIAL still trying to get my Wii crew *** v.letsinformeachother

I have never been able to get the point across to even one person on these boards.

The more people you have talking about it, the more people are going to be camping out tonight. You are posting about this on one of the largest message boards in the world. Hmm, I'm sure that will reach a few people.

And when Joe hears about it, he tells his friends. And then on launch days, everyone cries like a girl because they can't find a system. Wonder why? Why not shut the fuck up about it and go snag one.

You all must not be voters, if you follow the same line of reasoning. It's only one vote, I'm only giving one, it won't make an impact

edit: You don't have to post in this thread. Pick up the phone, call the store and ask. You'll get much more accurate information anyways.

scoped out toyrus, they had about 10 people waiting outside at 6:30. (the store opens at 9)

drove by walmart, no one. they opened at 7.

i said screw it and ended up waiting in line at target at 6:35. they handed out tickets at 7:30. i was number 6. they had 27 wiis, most of the people showed up around 7:20 or so. one dude had been there since 4am

got my wii, they only had to turn away 2 people who showed up at 7:55. i drove by toysrus and there was a line of about 100 people. what sucks is that they have to buy a bundle pack. i was tempted to hold my wii up to the window and honk as i went by, but i didn't want to be a dick

best thing is that my girl bought me this as my x-mas present, the catch was that i had to hunt for it

Fucking gay.

So I work at the mall, and I got off at 11:30. Circuit City is across the street, and as I'm walking to my car, I see people setting up tents.

So I think to myself "huh, I wonder what's going on"

Then I realized what the fuck they were doing.

Seriously now, the third shipment and people are setting up tents?

If everybody is doing this in Toledo, I doubt I'll be able to get one.

Yeah I just received word tonight that it'll be 8AM on the 6th. I still plan on camping from around noon on the 5th. The one here will be lined up outside the lawn and garden area. I just hope it's not too cold.

I have an answer. Because it pays to stay and wait.
Example, I was camped out at Toys R Us. They said they were getting 30. Then when it came to voucher time, they only handed out 24, and said they had "approximently 24". So the 24 people got one, but #25 and 26 stayed in line. They followed us into the store and waited. Finally when it came to them, the manager actually miscounted and they had more than what they thought. Those guys ended up getting them because they were persistent.

The rumor on another well known site is that CircuitCity & Walmart will have guaranteed Wiis with another minimum (most likely 15 per store & 1 per customer) this Sunday, or when the next new circular is released.

It's a rumor, so don't get your hopes up yet.
