Experiencing similar problems, maybe worse. Last night the battery went from 100% to 5-10% in a matter of 2-3 hours. Ended up having to run out to the car and charge it for about half an hour to get radio function.

Yesterday I took my phone off the desktop charger (full charge), drove up the street while making a phone call and the phone completely died. I could not turn on the phone. Went to the T-mo store and they told me to revert back to 4.2 then update to 4.5.

Updated to 4.5 and everything seems fine. Don't know how long this will last until the problems come back.

That's some pretty wild issues you guys are having... I would prolly just revert to 4.2 and wait to a fixed os.

after downloading the 4.5 how do you revert back to the 4.2 software...??? Step by step.. if anyone has time to explain... thanks in advance

Just delete the 4.5 os off your cpu and redownload the 4.2 os and do the same steps as update (but you'll make desktop manager think your updating) because your gonna do the same steps.

I downgraded back to 4.2.2.184, and I'm happy. No problems. I don't have a video camera, but I never use my phone's video camera anyway.

Just the fact that the volume levels are so much lower on 4.5 is reason enough for me to stay at 4.2.2 till they fix it.

janie215: it doesn't matter what your on, just that you have the correct os for your model. I got mine from voda and it works. what are you on right now?

Question for everyone out there, I have been trying to get an answer for the last couple of months to no avail. What is the video recording time limit. I tried to go for I hour and I get the .3pg.lock3 but not the 3gp.rem file as well. can anyone tell me the deal with that. the other files I get when recording smaller files just give me a .3pg

Ended up having the same problem occurring after the 4.5 update. Phone went completely dead in a middle of a phone call at over 90% battery life. Did a battery pull and hooked it up to the car charger and started up fine. Haven't had a problem since then. Will spend some time tomorrow morning calling it in to T-mo, hopefully a fix soon.

Called T-mo and was forwarded to RIM shortly after being told there was nothing that could be done. RIM logged the report and told me to reinstall and stay on 4.2 for now.

I DL'd the new OS and so far so good, I just did it last night but I'll post any issues I have hopefully i don't have any those same probs.......... not cool!
